50 years old, first trouble with gout at 20. then slowly increase problems with toe/ankle to age 40 with no regular meds. from 40 to 50 I am on 150mg allopurinol for 10years now. UA average 7.2.. I run 20 miles a week for last 10 years. I need to lower UA more to stop flare ups.
