I was finally diagosed with gout in mid July. Have had flares in both big toes, ankles, elbow, and both knees for the past 5 years+. I had a kidney transplant in Aug 2000. I have also had skin issues since the transplant including strep type 2 and psoriasis on the hands and feet. I'm over weight and have been my entire life. My doctors blame most of my ailments on my weight.
